5 Amazing Christmas Movies That Were Added To Netflix This Month


1. A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding

The long-awaited sequel to Netflix’s A Christmas Prince hit Netflix with an incredible impact, making Christmas movie advocates from around the world eager to follow the storyline that the original movie made them all fall in love with. Everyone’s favourite characters, Amber and King Richard do in fact end up tying the knot but Amber first has to do some soul-searching about what she’ll be changing about her own life when she officially becomes a royal.

A year after Amber helped Richard secure the crown, the two are set to tie the knot in a royal Christmas wedding – but their plans are soon jeopardised when Amber finds herself second-guessing whether or not she’s cut out to be queen, and of course there’s a little meddling by your favourite characters from the first film too.

2. Mingle All The Way

Mingle All the Way is both the title of this next movie, as well as the name of a networking app within the movie. Based on the movie’s summary,¬† two busy professionals decide to be each other’s “dates” for their upcoming holiday events after meeting on an app, but they eventually start falling for each other. Cliche, right?

Jen Lilley, who is the founder of the app, shows her determination to prove to her family that her new app is truely a success and in doing so, she joins the app, and meets another busy professional, Jeff, who is played by Brant Daugherty. When Molly and Jeff are matched on the app, they are both are shocked to realise they’ve already had not one, but two crazy previous encounters and their first impression of each other wasn’t the best as it stood. Regardless, they agreed to stay matched for to attend their upcoming holiday engagements where their family and friends keep a close eye on the pair.

3. Love For Christmas

Shantel Van Santen and Rob Mayes star in Love for Christmas, a new Christmas movie for the whole family to enjoy. The film made it’s debut premiere on Lifetime on Saturday, Dec. 1 and featured Rob Mayes’ character living in his hometown after several years away from his friends and family.

The film follows the story of Mayes’ as he reconnects with Van Santen’s character, a childhood friend who just might become more than that by the time the holidays are over.

4. A Christmas Pact

Can best friends really fall in love? That’s the question next door neighbours Sadie (Pratt) and Ben (Joseph) will answer throughout this Christmas film as they keep the spirit of Christmas and the magic of their childhood pact alive.¬†Kyla Pratt and Jarod Joseph star in this Lifetime movie as two adults who had the tradition of making a holiday pact when they were childhood friends. Now that they are adults, their holiday wishes might veer more toward the romance category.

Ben and Sadie need some Christmas Magic to recommit to each other and promise to keep their special holiday traditions. With each Christmas that passes by, Ben and Sadie’s Christmas tree grows taller and stronger and so does their love.

5. Angela’s Christmas

Set in Ireland in the 1910s, ‘Angela’s Christmas’ is a funny, heart-warming and poignant story about the power of family and the innocent desire of a child to ensure everyone is safe, warm and loved at Christmas time.

If your family includes some younger kids, they might enjoy enjoy Netflix’s adaptation of Frank McCourt’s children’s book. Based on the trailer, it looks like Angela wants to make sure her town’s statue of baby Jesus is nice and swaddled, but some people think she’s stealing the figure. Expect plenty of heartwarming moments to ensue.
