13 Times Wendys Roasted Celebrities On Twitter

Social media has becoming increasingly more and more important for companies today. Your company isn’t considered current if it’s not engaged in social media. This goes for literally all corporations in this day and age for each and every brand. It is, after all, a part of building brand identity. One particular platform that companies like to play around with is Twitter, and since it is a platform primarily used to post random thoughts and ideas online, it’s usually the go-to platform used most loosely and personal by companies today.

Wendy’s is winning kudos on social media for its amusing beef with a Twitter troll recently, however that’s not the only person they’ve set their eyes on.

When a Twitter user accused the fast food chain of lying about using “fresh, never frozen” beef for its hamburgers, Wendy’s had other ideas. After Wendy’s reiterated its fresh beef policy , the user asked if the company delivered it raw on a hot truck. Wendy’s rhetorically asked the user where cold things are stored that aren’t frozen. The user responded with a claim that McDonald’s served a better breakfast, to which Wendy’s said, “You don’t have to bring them into this just because you forgot refrigerators existed for a second there.”

A number of Twitter users are praising Wendy’s for the social media smack down, with some saying whoever runs the Wendy’s account deserves a raise.

However, this isn’t the only time the popular fast food chain has dished out on Twitter. On behalf of #nationalroastday, Wendy’s clapped back at numerous musicians, actors, bloggers and generally any celebrity who wanted to take on the challenge that is whoever is behind their Twitter account.

The tweets sparked a large slew of social media attention, and some brave celebrities even put their hand up to be the fast food chains next target.

People, celebrities, and even other companies jumped at the opportunity to be roasted by one of Twitter’s funniest accounts, and while being roasted may not seem fun to some, many feel that being roasted by Wendy’s is an honour. The social media team at Wendy’s has certainly not let us down, and we can’t wait for the next National Roast Day. But for now, let’s enjoy the awesomeness of these savage tweets they served.
