Did you know you can bet on Wrestling? Yes, despite the fact it is fake and the matches are predetermined. You can (on a few of the bookmaker’s websites) have a flutter on big wrestling events. With the biggest wrestling event on the horizon here are our top tips. The first one is, don’t gamble! The house always wins.
Daniel Bryan Vs Kofi Kingston
What better stage for Kofi to pull off a history defining moment than Wrestlemania 35. But it almost seems too easy doesn’t it? These two have shown they have great chemistry in the ring and this could steal the show. Just because the WWE doesn’t really like its fans I could see them screwing Kofi somehow, but fingers crossed he takes the W. Winner: Kofi Kingston.
Andre Giant Memorial Battle Royal
Braun Strowman would be an obvious and popular choice for a winner. But don’t be surprised to see an NXT talent take this one. Winner: Strowman
Ronda Rousey Vs Becky Lynch Vs Charlotte Flair
Becky Lynch is white hot at the moment. Charlotte is in because, how could they have such a historical moment without her? Her claiming the title recently may add another dimension to proceedings. With rumours that Ronda isn’t happy, and with a title unification unlikely, can you look beyond Becky? Winner: Becky Lynch.
Buddy Murphy Vs Tony Nese
Buddy will probably continue to hold here. But if he does lose hopefully it will result in a call up to the main shows. Winner: Buddy Murphy
Triple H Vs Batista
Two men who probably have ring rust. This could be tough to watch and the build hasn’t been particularly exciting either. As much as I love “The game” his hammy “inside jokes” were cringe worthy on last week’s Raw. It makes zero sense to have Batista go over HHH as this is probably a one off. Winner: HHH
Kurt Angle Vs Baron Corbin
Corbin will look weak if he loses and won’t get much momentum from the win. Kurt will probably win for the cheap pop. But it really is a toss a coin decision. Winner: Kurt Angle
Shane McMahon Vs The Miz
As much as I like Shane. He is good at what he does, but The Miz is a workhorse and deserves the rub here. Winner: The Miz
AJ Styles Vs Randy Orton
There have been rumours of AJ heading to Raw if that is true it would seem sensible to give Randy the rub as he will feature more prominently on Smackdown, plus he has history with both Bryan and Kofi, so could be the next feud for either of them. Winner: Randy Orton
Samoa Joe Vs Rey Mysterio
Joe has only just recently claimed the title and needs to be kept strong. I expect him to retain. Winner: Samoa Joe
Bobby Lashley Vs Finn Balor
There are rumours of the midcard titles switching brands, and rumours of Finn Balor switching too. So expect him to win back the strap here. Winner: Finn Balor
Roman Reigns Vs Drew McIntyre
Given his recent trauma and his time off TV it would almost seem mean to not put Roman over. Plus the WWE loves putting him over! It’s a shame as McIntyre has been booked strong of late and this could derail his momentum. Winner: Roman Reigns
Bayley and Sasha Banks Vs The IIconics Vs Natalya and Beth Phoenix Vs Nia Jax and Tamina
The women’s tag division already feels as stale as its male counterpart. I expect a swerve here with the IIconics picking up a cheap victory. Winner: IIconics.
Brock Lesnar Vs Seth Rollins
Surely this has to be the event where the title finally gets put on a full timer? I don’t think that Seth has been booked strong enough to warrant it though. As much as I would love to see the title change hands it doesn’t make a lot of sense. As always it depends on Brock’s contract! Winner: Brock Lesnar.
