Most college students need to work while attending college. Some just want some extra spending money, some are paying for their own education, and a few are paying for everything, classes and all of their living expenses. Each working student faces a dilemma…how to balance their job with both their classes and their social life.

One of the most important things you must learn is how to manage your time. Otherwise the demands of school, work and a social life can leave you exhausted which can cause you to do poorly in your classes. The skills you learn by asking for physics homework solution at homeworkpay.net the service always finding answers for you, while doing this will be useful for the rest of your life.

It is impossible to do everything, so you will need to prioritize your task list. For example, it is Thursday afternoon. You professor just assigned a 3000 word paper that is due Monday morning. You are in class all day Friday. There is a football game Friday evening, you work all day Saturday and Sunday, there is a big party Saturday night and some friends asked you to go hiking on Sunday evening. You need to sleep sometime as well. What will you do? You can’t do everything, how will you make a decision? Each individual will prioritize these tasks differently. But, let’s assume you really need the money and can not skip out on work. You will need at least one evening to write the paper. Therefore, you need to decide whether the football game, the party or the hiking trip is the least important to you and then don’t go. You can write your paper that night, have fun the other two nights, turn your paper in on time and have extra money in your pocket as well.

There are a few steps you can take to make the juggling act a little easier:

    • Search for a job that has flexible hours so you can fit work around your class schedule and hopefully be able to take off a couple of days to study during final exams.
    • Limit your work hours. It hard to say no when your boss asks you to work extra hours, but remember you do need to pass your classes. It will cost a lot more to retake the class if you fail than you could possibly earn working a few more hours.
    • Create a schedule calendar and hang it on the wall. “Pencil in” all of your commitments. Hanging a calendar on the wall makes it a lot easier to see if you are over extending yourself. Be realistic about how much time homework and studying will take. Always schedule at least one or two fun activities each week. You will do better in school and at work if you take time to relax and have some fun.

Remember, you are learning skills that you will use for the rest of your life and you might as well have some fun while you are doing it.
