Cristiano Ronaldo’s winners mentality means that the Portugal and Real Madrid star is easily frustrated when things aren’t going his way or his teammates are unable to perform to the same level that the former Manchester United player is capable of and expects of others.
The very fact Ronaldo returned to the pitch for a few minutes, despite clearly being unable to walk, shows his desire to succeed. Therefore, the fact he had to come off with not even 20 minutes on the Stade de France clock, wasn’t ever going to be easy for CR7 to deal with.
Given the fact that Ronaldo wasn’t able to ‘RKO’ Dimitri Payet for his overzealous tackle that caused him to come off, the Portugal captain took out his anger on teammate, Adrien Silva, who, thankfully for him, took it really well and didn’t overreact in the slightest…
