Think you can roll the rock? Well we dare you to take your talents to Vegas and compete in the Major Series of Putting, a series of putting championships that take place in March of 2017, just steps from the Vegas strip.

The “Main Event” of the MSOP involves a $5,000 entry fee with the winner taking home $155,000 in cold hard cash. Now this isn’t mini golf, there are no windmills or alligator mouths, this monster 20,000 square foot course will have stadium seating for spectators and overhead lights to add a little more pressure for the competitors.

The course will be designed by none other than Nicklaus Design, and if the Golden Bear is putting his name on something, you know it will be good. The stadium will also include Live scoring, giant screens, a sports bar, and live entertainment.

“This will truly level the playing field for the sport,” said MSOP president and general manager Guillaume Beland in a recent ESPN article. “And Vegas will give it that additional sex appeal.” The committee has also brought on world class putter and PGA Tour winner Brad Faxon as an advisor for the project.

So instead of trying to take your friends money on the local practice green, it’s time to step your game up and play with the big boys, and you’ll be in Vegas. Sounds like a win to me. If you have ever wanted to know what it feels like to have a putt to win a major, here is your chance.

Doesn’t sound awesome enough just yet? Well check out this teaser video to wet your appetite while you book those tickets to Sin City:
