Chris Oyakhilome Background

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on the 7th of December 1973 and was the son of Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. Following his primary and secondary schooling, he enrolled in Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained the BSc in Architecture.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his ministry career while at AAU. The Believers LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was then known as Youths For Christ.

YFC increased in size, and became the largest campus organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Oyakhilome Lagos is the main location for the church. Believer’s LoveWorld is now a global ministry with thousands of followers and associates across the globe.

Through the atmosphere for miracles series, BLW became Africa’s most well-known Christian ministry through television. They stopped airing the program in May 2004 after the then President of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles shouldn’t be allowed to continue by churches.

The InnerCity Mission is a faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005 the organization was founded to aid the needy and homeless, orphaned and children who are vulnerable .

The foundation helps these destitute children and their communities by implementing sustainable and participative interventions that include child development programmes, childcare programmes and family strengthening programs, InnerCity Mission for Children School and more.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was established to improve the standard of living and the overall health of communities as well as nations through promoting improved emergency response services for accidents and emergencies. The foundation intends to achieve this goal through health education, advocacy and community-based programs , while also providing support for national policies regarding trauma treatment.

The foundation has run more than 1000 first-aid, safety, emergency response training. Oyakhilome They have been credited with training over 1,000 schoolchildren and law enforcement officers as well teachers, caregivers and road traffic officers.

Volunteer Medical Corps

The Volunteer Medical Corps is an international christian medical outreach. It offers relief supplies, medical aid, and education for refugees and internally displaced individuals in affected regions.

This outreach includes a network made up of paramedics, christian health workers and students from all over the world. These volunteers provide medical care emergency assistance, as well as healthy solutions for health to communities and regions in crisis.
