The new poster has a similar style to the first version that was revealed in September that featured Harbor Santa Claus smoking a candy cane. The new look includes the iconic Dolby logo adorned with festive Christmas lights as Harbor delights in a bite in the mouth of an amazing gingerbread biscuit.

If the Violent Night trailer is any hint, this is a Christmas movie that you’ll surely be able to catch in the theaters. Written by Tommy Wirkola, the light-hearted action film follows Harbor’s tired Santa Claus, who’s nearly ready to give up on humanity after a thousand years of increasingly greedy Christmas wishes. However, when a girl called Trudy Lightstone (Leah Brady) asks old Saint Nicholas to help her when her family is attacked on Christmas Eve, she is capable of restoring that Christmas cheer back.

Violent Night was screened in NYC and fans and critics alike praised the film, with early reactions calling it a brand new Christmas classic. Other critics are praising the film due to the brutal action and Wirkola’s expertly choreographed fight sequences.

In addition to Harbor as well as Brady, Violent Night stars Christmas Vacation’s Beverly D’Angelo, who plays Trudy’s mother, whom she’s presumably named after, Gertrude Lightstone. Alexis Louder and Alex Hassell play Trudy’s parents, while the remainder members of the Lightstone family is made up from Cam Gigandet and Edi Patterson.
